NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES

| Nomination papers must be filed with the Returning Officer between 11:00 am and 12 noon. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. |
A nomination must be made - |
- using the prescribed Nomination Paper (to be submitted in duplicate);
- accompanied by a Political Donation Certificate issued by the Registrar of Political Donations relating to each nominee (to be submitted in duplicate); and
- with the election deposit (or receipt of the deposit if it had already been paid to the Accountant-General’s Department).

For a group of persons seeking election as Members of Parliament in a Group Representation Constituency, the group’s Nomination Papers must also be accompanied by a certificate from either the
Malay Community Committee or the Indian and other Minority Communities Committee (to be submitted in duplicate),
which relates to at least one of the group members.

For a person seeking election as the President, his/her Nomination Papers must also be accompanied by the Certificate of Eligibility. |
