You can vote without your poll card as long as your name is listed in the registers of electors. Only your original NRIC or passport is required for identification purpose at the polling station.

You will receive a poll card, which will show you the details of your allotted polling station.
The poll card will be mailed to you at your latest residential address registered with Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

If you have lost your NRIC, you will need to bring along an Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) issued document, which will contain your photograph.
It should state that you have reported the loss of your NRIC and ICA is in the process of replacing your NRIC.

You can only vote at the polling station indicated on your poll card. Your name will only appear in the register of electors at the polling station where you are assigned to vote.

Upon arrival at the polling station, please present your NRIC or passport and poll card for verification by the Election Official.
You will then be given a ballot paper for you to mark your choice of candidate or group of candidates.
Thereafter, fold the ballot paper and drop the folded ballot paper into the ballot box provided and exit the polling station.

If the voter is not able to travel to the polling station to vote, his name will be removed from the registers of electors after Polling Day. He may apply to restore his name to the registers when he recovers.

If you are unable to vote in Singapore on Polling Day as you are overseas, your name will be removed from the registers. You can apply to restore your name via our eServices using your Singpass, so that you can vote at future elections.

You may seek assistance from polling officials and request to use the wheelchairs provided at the polling station. You may also join the priority queue for issuance of ballot papers.

At the polling station, Election Officials can help you mark the ballot paper upon request. All Election Officials have taken an oath to maintain voting secrecy. Hence, your voting choice will be secret.
